I've had this foot pedal for about 10 years. It stopped working on my laptop. I get a message that states Windows doesn't recognize the device because it malfunctioned. I put it in my computer, and it says no device recognized. Could the foot pedal have burnt out? It was working fine. I keep taking it out of my laptop when I close my laptop. I'm not sure if this ruined it. I switch between laptop and my compute also. I've tried deleting the hardware and then try installing it again, but get the same message. I need this for income, but don't want to buy a new one if this is okay. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
