Anything that requires you actually "touch" a person (nursing, medical assistant, etc) you would be safe in never losing your job to a robot (i.e., computer) who can do it better. MA job seems perfect for somebody who doesn't want to go the RN route. I have an RN degree, but have not practiced in 18+ years, but still have my license. Back in the day I had to weigh many things, and MT paid more than my RN position. Today, it would be the opposite, had I stayed in the RN profession. Good luck to us all in the future.
