In this day and age where new and exciting things happen every day that we never dreamed possible, you are wise to at least be concerned. I would do as another suggested and never use this email for anything other than work. However, I would also send an email (always document) to your supervisor or whomever. "My understanding of the company's email password policy is..." This would also be a rare instance in which I would cc to your personal email so you have a copy. Also, forward any response containing clarification to your personal email. After that, I would keep my nose clean and not worry about it.
