TASP means transcription application service provider. If you contract with one of these, you'll have to pay for it. If the doc has a digital recorder with software, you'll need the receiving part of the software and that would depend on what he's got already. You'd also have to purchase this, but that's part of doing business and would be a write-off when you file your tax return.
