I had success by cleaning out the inside - sm

On the bottom of the pedal you'll see several screws. Unscrew them and remove the base, exposing the insides. If you have canned air, blow out the inside real well. Then you can use Q-Tips slightly dampened with alcohol or vinegar to clean of any areas that you can tell are very sticky or dusty. Over the years, "stuff" can accumulate making things stick and just not perform right.

I hope this helps. Those pedals are expensive! :)
