early retirement at age 62 - old crabby MT Posted: Aug 11th, 2017 - 8:05 am In Reply to: I retired at 62 - what I did
I too took early retirement and stayed working part time. I am still working but hopefully be out soon as I am just fed up with everything, not getting paid on time, Nuance taking over so many companies, etc. etc. I don't have any regrets at all, as it saved my body from breaking down more and my sanity. You can work part time and make so much per the SS guidelines per year until you reach a certain age and then you can work as much as you want. You can check everything out on SS.gov I believe. Good luck to you. This is such a tough business to be in and I do wish I had gone into coding like I was thinking 10 years ago, but now I really hate working so time to get out and enjoy the rest of my life.
