regarding how long this will be down. Since I opted for IC status, I was not given any info regarding compensation. I had other income, from an outside private source, which is keeping me going financially through this mess.

The outside facility I work for refused, years ago, to buy into all the Obamacare mess/law requiring EMRs. They put in place what suited their practice. They still continue to use tapes to a large degree along with the EMRs. They refused to commit everything to EMRs. We have never had an issue, down time, hack in all the years since then...thank GOD! They also put in place their own security system on top of what came with the ERMs programs/software.

As for the check in...they never even addressed that at all. The topic was completely ignored.

Okay suits...now flame away while the rest of us try to get our ducks in a row regarding the Nuance mess.
