If the course is worth its salt, they are teaching this student research skills. This forum is not a research skill, and should only be used as a last resort.
The other problem with using this board is that, while there are many experienced MTs here, there are also inexperienced MTs who shoot stuff off on the fly without knowing pertinent information. Nobody here should be giving suggestions without further information from the person asking for help.
