I know I will probably get some negative comments from some, but I stand firm in my belief that as long as people keep accepting lower and lower wages, the pay scale will keep spiraling downward. Pretty soon the companies will be asking us to pay them for the "privilege" of working for them. Pfooey on that. As my mother told me long ago, no one can make a doormat out of you if you do not lie on the floor and let them walk on you.
