My benefit has gone up a little...SM - Old Anon

I took early at 63. The year I turned 66, I got a lump sum check for $2000 around August, saying it was a recalculation of benefits owed to me. When I started Medicare at age 65, despite paying out about $200+/month for that benefit, my S.S. check stayed the same even with this deduction, indicating my gross benefit had gone up. The best source of information would be the S.S. website who explains all this in detail.
