HCC - coding

I've done HCC coding and hated it. It's so different from the outpatient and inpatient coding I've learned in school...to me, it almost isn't real coding. It also tends to be seasonal for most, although there are some people who do it year-round. If you don't mind not using CPT/PCS coding (and possibly losing your skills in them) and want to learn a bunch of new rules specific to HCC, then HCC is the way to go.
