How many times have we all heard these stories over and over again, whether it is MModal, Nuance, Softscript, on and on. My question is what can be done? These companies are obviously taking advantage of the current situation and abusing all who work for them. They are making more and more money while employees are making less and less. Isn't there some Federal organization that can address this situation and create some kind of rules to play by so that employees can make a decent living? Shouldn't some organization be looking into this. Are there any investigations occurring, and if so, will there be any punishment for these folks who are obviously making a fortune while ruining the entire medical transcription business for all the hard working MTs out there. There has to be someone or some organization out there that can fight these people and turn this around. It is just totally unfair that physicians and top brass of these organizations are making millions while MTs, who this business would not function without, are making minimum wage or less. Let's have some fairness, huh?
