flexors or flexures - tired out mt

Posted: Oct 28, 2009

I always get confused with flexors and flexures. What is the easiest way to get them correct?   This is the instance I am referring to now, but there have been other times where I was confused too.   On testing her strength, she does have about 60% strength on the right, as compared to the left.  This is both in the hip ? flexures or flexors ?and abductors. tia.

Flexor refers to tendon/ligament/muscle so it is flexor. - NM

muscles are flexors or extensors

the flexures that come to mind are hepatic and sigmoid flexures in the colon.
