Are erythematic and erythemic actual words? - lg

Posted: Aug 27, 2011

I have had different docs use erythematic and erythemic. Are those actual words? I saw an old post where someone claimed it was in their dictionary, but did not cite the source.

According to Stedman's... - Cathy

[ In Reply To ..]
Erythematic is listed in Stedman's Dermatology and Immunology Words 3rd edition. Both words are listed on dictionary.com, but I don't know if that is a reliable source and I couldn't find erythemic anywhere else. I would probably change erythemic to erythematous.
