Windows Media Player - new MT

Posted: Oct 08, 2011

I was sent test files to be used with Windows Media Player. However, can't rewind or use my foot pedal with them. It is taking me forever, have to go back to the beginning, etc. Is there a way to get my foot pedal to work not using Express Scribe? I use that through my other company and don't want them to know I am using it or inadvertently send them the test files! I have tried to download the free trial of ES, but it just keeps going to my company one and messing it up. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Even if I could just use the hot keys it would be a help.

Maybe you could try this - My manager called me a typist *sigh*

Hi, I use express scribe everyday, but when I can't hear something or the audio is especially heinous, I will throw it into FTW.
It's quite a handy little piece of software to have.

Thanks, I did download but don't quite know how to get the file onto it-I'm very technically challenged. Thanks for trying to help.

Program Switch can change voice files from one kind to - another. Has free trial. nm

Aug 05, 2011

Has anyone ever wanted to work for a company that only used Windows XP and you had Windows 7 but could virtually move to XP mode?  Could you download their software on the XP mode side and get it to work?  I had a job interview where their software only worked on XP.  I thought I could do that, but I had to also have Word 2003.  I only have 2010, but it has the compatability pack for 2003, BUT the client's software couldn't differentiate that.  If I maybe bough ...
