We are currently hiring experienced MTs/Speech Recognition Editors for a new acute care account. IC status only.
Must have 2 years acute care experience in order to be considered for this position. We will require a passing grade on our acute care test on mttest.com.
This position will start May 14, 2008. We are looking to hire, install, and train all of our MTs by week ending May 5, 2008.
Prior work experience on Dictaphone’s iChart/EXText is a considerable advantage, although we will provide training for all MTs hired.
High speed Internet required – cable or DSL only. Microsoft Vista will NOT work. We will provide Transcription Kits at no charge to you as the MT that will include all required software, footpedal, headset, manuals, Stedman’s Quicklook E-Drug, Stedman’s Plus Spellchecker 2007, and Stedman’s Medical Dictionary v7.0.
We are staffing the following slots at this time:
*In need of FT MTs for 2nd shift on Fridays - 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. CST
*In need of FT MTs for 1st shift on Saturdays - 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. CST
*In need of FT MTs for 2nd shift on Saturdays - 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. CST
*In need of FT MTs for 1st shift on Sundays - 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. CST
*In need of FT MTs for 2nd shift on Sundays - 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. CST
Full-time MTs (1000 lines/day) preferred but will also consider part-time MTs (500 lines/day) for some of these positions.
Work will consist of traditional transcription as well as editing of files that have been run through the voice recognition software. You will get a mix of both in your pool.
Pay will be 8 cpl/65 character lines with spaces for transcription and 3 cpl/65 character lines for Speech Recognition Editing.
