When I asked the trainer for the new account I was assigned to how to get on MQ Central, she said I can't because it's not open to ex-Spheris employees. I was not hired by Medquist, but hired by Spheris.

I very rarely read the 'news' posted on MQC, but I did today just to see what the latest in a long line of 'big cheeses' had to say. To say my blood started to boil is putting it mildly. I have been working for this company - no matter what it's name is,was or will be - since the very beginnings of TL. In other words, I've never done anything else work-wise so imagine my glee when I read about more work being sent to India and an even bigger push towards SR. Can't wait to see - and am quite afraid of - what this 'big cheese' has in store for us worker bees. I've seen many, many CEOs come and go, and in my humble opinion the only ones who got it 'right' were the originals. I'm sure Vern Davenport has no idea of who any of us are,unlike my first 'bosses' who knew every transcriptionist by name. Guess all I wanted to say is take me back to the old days any day. At least he got 1 thing right - their employees, at least as far as MTs, MEs, etc go,are the "best possible". Good luck to us all - looks like we're going to need it.

of what I got out of the interview. I enlightened him a little bit about the physicians knowing they are using voice and like it. Most of them as we know don't even know they are using it. And the thing about compressing the pay for every one, at least he didn't lie as when I emailed him the first time, I told him we all got pay cuts just before he came on board. Wonder how he will respond to this email.

I just signed on to the Tennessean and expressed my opinion about Medquist. Every chance I get I will voice how I feel about this company and any company that sends American jobs overseas.
