The corporate-speak email said MM was announcing "strategic organizational changes and expansion of our senior leadership team. These changes will enhance our ability to capture increasing market opportunities and improve growth and performance."

[ In Reply To ..]There was once a time with every new change, I hoped things would get better as a result. I have learned over the years that that is never the case. In fact, with every new change in this industry, things just get worse. Sad but true. I found it interesting in the email that the writer used the phrases "chosen to leave the company," and "decided to leave the company." "Chosen" and "decided," so as not to make the reader think they were fired. Personally, those words make me wonder why they "chose" and "decided" to leave the company. hmmmm....kinda reminds me how animals know to seek shelter before the storm is even near. Scary thought.

These people already earned enough to be set for life; but then again, considering their lack of logic, they might just blow their money foolishly. I have always believed that goodness eventually wins over badness and unfairness because there are more good people than bad. THE MOST BASIC THING THEY GOT WRONG....pay a fair and decent salary or people will get fed up. So they would make half a million instead of a million. Do they really need that extra painting or those ugly overpriced big shot cars? Fools to the end.

We've all met them and now we work for them. They try to be the biggest and best to feed their egos at all costs (pun intended). Some people truly don't have a conscience. These execs make millions of dollars. Having a big house and fancy car seems great at first, but when you think about it, it's all just STUFF. Honestly, I would be embarrassed to drive a very expensive car...it's blatant showing off "look at me, I'm important." OMG I can just see the replies now, but humor me and think about it. TO THE OTHER MTSOs out there, you can get clients by saying you don't lie about unrealistic expectations, that you will deliver quality documents and pay a fair salary because you value the workers as much as the patients. I can go on and on, but in other words, do the opposite of MM. This company cares nothing about the workers. They just want more money for themselves. I hope they like their fancy stuff, because it does nothing for their souls. Yeah, they'd probably chuckly reading this...oh, and about that...I don't care if they know my IP address...not going through an anonymous source like TOR even though I can...hope they read this and keep lying to themselves that they need to do what they are doing. I would never treat my workers like this, NEVER. Dare I say, that makes me a better person. I don't need all that stuff/crap.

[ In Reply To ..]Of course it is not like Amy or Vern did anything worthwhile for the US MT while they were here. All Hands Calls were a joke and Vern never answered his email anyway. The email system is still not working properly and people are still running out of work. If anything they bought out more companies, shipped more work overseas and were responsible for Mmodal laying off employees. Something to be proud of for sure.
So what damage do you think the new guys will do? We already know about the push for quality. I hope they aren't out to make a name for themselves and the US MTs get hurt in the meantime.

I'm seriously considering using the "Ask Vern" feature on the MModal home page to "ask Vern" where the work is. So far I have received one e-mail from my TSM in the West Region regarding the lack of work, this dated February 20. Also included in that e-mail was the warning that schedules would have to be changed. However, there's no work nights or weekends either, so I don't see that as a solution.
