Just heard that we lost one of our biggest accounts because of TAT.  I'm sure this means no more overtime, probably will be running out of work a lot too.  Too bad 'cause I loved all the overtime.

whatever you want to call it and I did not get an e-mail about this. It would be nice if she let us all know. This really stinks because my Friday shift was spent entirely on one of the other accounts (which I hate) and when she would send out the backlogs I couldn't understand why I wasn't getting work from the account you are talking about. Looks like that is what should have happened, I would have been glad to help the backlog but I can't if they don't send the work to me.

I've been told by super once that my primary dropped MM because of TAT issues, but it turned out they just moved it overseas. I have access to global manager. If you email the hospital name, I could see if she's tell you the truth.
Its pretty simple... get rid of the pods - the old sup never had this problem

Before the pod mess, the old sup could call or email stating the accout was behind and the MTs were like sharks on blood. Now, its demand OT because we have all slowed down due to the multiple accounts, demand we change our schedules because they force us to work slower and therefore have more gaps in coverage, and then treat us like such a pile of garbage... oh well!

Did her e-mail mention say what if any action would be taken? Obviously there will now be a lot less work. Just wondering if people will be moved. I work on this account too. Still can't believe I wasn't notified. Just wondering if I will be moved or if we can all expect NJA this week. Thank you for letting us know about this since obviously HDSM didn't feel we all needed to know. Just because it isn't my primary (if we even have those anymore) I still work on it

I don't think I have ever worked on that account, but I am curious as to why you say no more OT. Wouldn't they want it to catch up? BTW, why couldn't it have been sent to India. Again, it's the MTs fault, not MM! Jerks all of them!

Nothing was said that we were in danger of losing this account. We were told overtime was approved during the week but I can work on this account and was not getting work from this account; makes no sense. Why work OT when this account needs help if all the work I get is from another account. Crazy!

There is rumor that Transcend has lost a huge account and I see someone further down on the board figures this to be true since she now has work in this account, only she is working for a different MTSO.  Anyone care to elaborate?  I say this is only the beginning for them, the way they push and shove until TAT is down to about 3 minutes.  You only get what you pay for in this industry.  Plus you also get what you have coming, after the way Transcend treats their MTs.  ...

Today is Sunday, I work in the South Region and I'm getting a hospital I never had before.  I have had the same hospital for a very long time and used to never run out of work and now it is just about gone.  On Sundays we always had overtime, especially when there is maintenance we would always get way behind.  I'm so sad.  I loved that hospital.  I think everyone on here is right about them sending more and more work to India.  It's happening, obviou ...

Small to medium-sized company lost a very large long-term client.  Naturally, the MTs are to blame.  Reason given was the work was out of turn around on weekends and MTs did not meet their commitments.  I can't say what percentage of MTs did not meet their commitments.  I do know that I always have.  I also know that I have kept an accurate log of the work on this very large account and 75 to 90% of the time the work runs out on Sunday, with no work available on Mon ...

After 14 years of transcribing for a medical practice, suddenly, without notice, I was "dumped."  My client implimented the required EHR mandated by President Obama.  I guess I was somewhat naive in not seeing this coming, but I assumed transcribed documents by a "real person" would still be wanted by my client.  Now I find myself at age 57 without work.  My next step is to inquire about verbatim transcription, but the idea of not correcting improper grammar and using "yeah" ...

Just heard today my local town's clinic will be going to EMR in September so those MTs will be losing their job (we are only 2000 people but the clinic is going EMR), another town 125 from me with about 100 MTs have just lost their jobs and a bigger town from there has lost about 100 MTs because of EMR.  These are rural America and not big hospitals by any means compared to some of the bigger cities in the country.  This is just not right and so, so, so sad.  I also jus ...
