How do we request time off without pay? - cr

When I asked my supervisor, she sent an attachment on how do it, but I don't understand exactly. It looks like I'm supposed to first go into Remedy (?) and request it, then go into Teamwork? I just now tried to go into Remedy, and all I got was a blank page. Everything is so complicated, and I'm so tired.

Just because I'm tired. I wanted a couple of days off along with my regular days off. It's been a long time since I've taken any time off. I work part-time and don't get PTO anymore. I actually did all you said, but got no response except a red X next to it. I thought that meant denial, but then when I re-requested for next week, I automatically got the same X. Finally, I was forced to read the attachment that was sent, and it said something about having to go through Remedy first. It's so confusing. Thanks though.

Leave request is through Schedule Source. - dnr

At top of the page, there is a leave button. Click that. Then, click the plus sign (add leave request). Don't forget to put the time in central time.

Does that allow for the 13 days of - unpaid leave we are allowed

You will always see that big red X when you request leave for any reason. It is there in case you change your mind and you want to delete the request yourself. I always put the date I submitted my request as part of the Comments section to show I gave ample notice for my request. Once your HDSM has approved your request, you will see the status next to that big red X change from "Requested" to "Granted." I'm not sure how much notice you need to give for time off without pay. For PTO, it's 2 weeks' notice for 1 day and 1 month's notice if you're requesting a whole week off so it might be similar to that but I'm not sure.

Ask your CCM tonight to temporarily help out in the South if you are NJA. I hate to draw people to my accounts and risk running out of work, but considering these accounts are going to go late in a couple of hours and they have already threatened to leave if TATs aren't met, it's worth the risk. So last week I was "off the grid" at 98 something percent. Okay, so I'm getting 8 cents a line for that week. So, for this week since Saturday (I work Sat-Tues) they have done NO audits at all. Her CCM has told her to request PTO hours using TW. She (and I) have searched every buttom, menu, and left-click pick-list we could find, with no joy, in that miserably travesty of software. She called 1 800 dictate and the nice Indian gentleman there first proved he was even more ignorant of what TW can do then we are, then firmly stated that it "can't be done. Ask your CCM to do it."
