How come we do not get bonuses or incentives. - Nuance does.

We used to get shift differentials and extra if you work weekends. Also used to get more if you type a certain amount, but with no jobs what does it matter.

There was no need to pay a bonus or incentive because by BOOSTing you MTs can raise your line counts yourselves! Plus knowing that email is our only communication as a bonus we will give you an email system that actually works!

We will see what Nuance does. My friend works for Accentus which just got bought out by Nuance and apparently there are rumors of pay cuts and all sorts of bad things. Mmodal has never been a leader, just a follower and a copier of what other companies do. Oh, you only pay your MTs 70% of ASR rate, well then we will decrease it too. Oh, you throw all your MTs into the cesspool of accounts. That sounds like a great idea.

I would not be surprised if Nuance and Mmodal were one big company one day.

I'm sure it makes perfect business sense, pay the workers less, pay the CEOs more. I think it's called the sweatshop model, not sure.

We may be "eligible" for a bonus, but trust me the QA is such a nightmare the bulk of us don't get it on a regular basis.

I seem to get it about every other quarter. Also, when you run out of work ALL THE TIME you can't get enough line count to qualify even if your QA score is high enough.

Not much of a bonus if they make it impossible to get and do so with shady QA scores and no work available.

Hi All, I own an MTSO and want to offer the best pay structure possible for our MTs and Team Leads that are hourly employees. Unfortunately, the economy and this industry are still tough, so the sky is not the limit as far as how much I can pay per line. and offering OT on weekends when there is not enough work as it is. As per usual during an incentive (I work FT and work Saturday), half way thru my shift I get NJA. *** On these stupid incentives, I just pray that I can even get my hours in much less any freaking OT. Seen references to TSMs getting bonuses for keeping in TAT. Anyone know if this is true? Seems like if they got us (and are still turning the screws), they are going to do something (probably sucky) to QA and QC, then perhaps the TSMs should be next.
