I think there are rumblings in the USA about jobs being outsourced and what we think might happen, actually won't. I know we have a global economy, but there are some things that shouldn't be sent offshore and I think medical records is one of them.

I'm seriously considering using the "Ask Vern" feature on the MModal home page to "ask Vern" where the work is. So far I have received one e-mail from my TSM in the West Region regarding the lack of work, this dated February 20. Also included in that e-mail was the warning that schedules would have to be changed. However, there's no work nights or weekends either, so I don't see that as a solution. something like "correction to previous" email regarding line rate increase. At first I thought, okay, that virtually nil line raise WAS a mistake and now they will be giving us a more reasonable raise. Nope, it was the same exact amount. wanting everyone to work a weekend day. I personally can only work M-F and was hired on as such. I know some people probably already have mandated weekend shifts, but I have another job I work weekends. I wonder what would happend if I refuse to work weekends?
