This is why MTs will make less and less at MQ. They are robbing the MTs' salaries and investing the money they are saving (by paying such low wages) in other companies. I believe they want to own the competition and then try to convert all the transcription to electronic (meaning no MT needed) records using M-Modal.

OMG! Maybe you do have something. - Government maybe wants this!

OMG! Obviously the government does not care and wants EHR in place soon. Maybe this is the way to go by converting it all into EMR/EHR more efficiently with just one or two monopoly players than numerous little companies out there trying to do it all at once.

as a Christian, I see where computers would be involved in the mark of the beast, one world government, one monetary system, etc. Having a world-wide accessible EHR would allow government to know even more about a person, making credit harder to get, making it more difficult to buy/sell, etc, as foretold in the book of Revelation.

I honestly don't think there is anything we can do to stop it. I firmly believe the end is coming.

Right now I am so devastated and upset I don't know what to do. Etransplus, the people whom I work for fulltime (I work part-time for Medquist) was acquired by Medquist.
