I was under the impression that fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome diagnoses were made pretty much when other causes for the symptoms had been ruled out. Is this still true?? Well, I do know there is a trigger point test for fibro, but to this untrained person, it sounds like that may be what the problem is - one or the other. Then again, I haven't been studying up on them for a couple of years so maybe new tests have come out or something. |
