I'm so sorry for your losses. Elder care is so difficult; I believe their bodies are so fragile that a single event can take them so quickly. Hindsight is nearly always 20/20 but I honestly believe most doctors and facilities do the best they can. We nearly lost my 80-yo MIL a year ago to similar circumstances, and it made us all aware, including her, that she cannot take anything for granted and that every day is a gift.
Regarding your concerns on her salvation, please don't take that burden onto yourself or play the "what if" game, it will only torture you. Lean on Him and trust in that. (((hugs))) |
