Why on earth do you think that he should have to help you just because he's marrying your daughter?  He doesn't become your "answer to everything."  How about respecting the fact that he has a life and he's young.  Gee whiz...  I hope you don't expect your daughter to "not marry him."  You are his future MIL, not his future boss, or the Queen of England for that matter.  Yes, I think you're overreacting.  Hire a mover!
