to Phoenix. It was the best time of my life. I actually lived in Mesa and the cost of living was suprisingly reasonable. I had a really nice condo for around $700-800 a month, 2 bedroom, with it's own laundry room, covered parking, etc. I worked in Phoenix and the highway I took wasn't all that bad from what I was expecting. I eventually moved to Scottsdale, but the cost of living there is fairly high, but beautiful. I loved Phoenix because it was just hours away from the Cali so I could visit the beaches on the weekends and also just hours away from Las Vegas. It's a great place to be single and I made so many new friends there so quickly. At the time, I was also single and no kids. It's supposedly the best city for singles. Good luck on your search. I envy you a little bit as I love traveling myself... |
