just in case it is unclear...the purpose of the packed suitcase is if he has another episode, all I have to do is zip up the suitcase and we are off to the foster care intake office. Yes...I would really do it. If things get to that point, I would allow him to remain in foster care for a few months before starting the paperwork to get him back. We live in Georgia. They told me that it could take from 1 to 6 weeks to get him back, but that I would be able to get him back if I wanted to.
