and I stuck my finger in the pot of the candied syrup to see how it tasted... burned the living daylights out of it!! Needless to say, working was miserable for about a week. My daughter, then 12 or so, said, 'Mom, what were you thinking!!!???' Oh yeah, and we've all BTDT with some sort of blender mishap... I think I'd be more upset that I lost the good stuff inside than the mess LOL ;-)
