The dog shouldnt have bit her and the owners should be responsible. If the dog is dangerous, it should be put down. But you did not have to pay 800.00 out of pocket and I think the 87 dollars should be enough. No amount of money is going to make your daughter feel secure in her neighborhood. How you handle the situation will only do that. It seems to me that you are using this as an opportunity to get some money out of them. If it were me, I would be pushing for the dog to either be put down or the leash laws to be enforced, not pushing for the almighty dollar. What is getting money going to accomplish? |
