It is so sad to lose a pet. We lost our two cats in 1989 (both died within 3 months from eacher other - were brother/sister). It is so hard and to this day I cannot talk about them as it chokes me up and I start crying as though it was yesterday and I feel such sadness (you would think after 9 years I'd be over it by now, but it still hurts - and now I can see why my mom never got over my baby sisters death). In amongst our research we wanted to know if pets go to heaven and came across some wonderful web sites. Here is a link to a site I just came across as my MIL just lost her cat.
