That the male children are not sent to the camp. Some of the children were at the camp without their parents, as if it is an honor of sorts to be a chosen child to be taken to the camp, to be taken care of by standing in mothers and fathers. This has also caused confusion on whose children are whose. Then there is the element of birth defects with no medical care, children being born in Warren Jeff's own house with midwifery, and children being driven off as they reach puberty (12 to 18) called the lost boys. Being driven out of the community to fend for their own being ill-prepared, under-educated, with no outside support and thrown to the wolves of society. Increased genetic traits due to inbreeding causing premature death, miscarriage, and untreated medicadl defects is more common that could be known because of the silence of the community. |
