My cat tore the cruciate ligament in her left knee last summer. She started limping and the vet highly recommended surgery. I did the surgery and her left knee seems fine. Last week, she tore her right knee. She is in a lot of pain with this one. I hope to have her in surgery by the end of the week. It is not common in cats, so I'm not sure why her knees have given out. I estimate she's about 10 and she stays inside, so I'm not sure why her knees are so bad. I can't have her in pain and hobbling around, so surgery is my only option. |
