that's harsh. bet ya they have nothing else to do. sorry to them but my brain is full. takes a little work to pull some things out from the depths. :) not to mention we all need reminders once in a while. it has nothing to do with not caring.
i also think this is a great topic for a child to do a project on. they hear a lot of things but very often don't understand fully what the military is all about. i had this discussion with my 10yo last week because all he sees are signs saying "send our troops home" and there was one about all the deaths. to him, that just means you sign up for the military and you die or get hurt. there most certainly is more to it than war and all aspects should be commended. |
