Just like me you know who your kid's friends and what they are doing. I used to try to run around and straighten up, but then I really wondered if the kids cared. I "always" have a bunch of snacks on hand ( I remember a friend telling my in high school it was so cool to have junk food to eat) and plenty of sodas as well as flavored waters. One of my sons friends has a mother that can not do anything spontaeously. Need at least 4 days to a week to make any decisions. This is a woman who vaccums and cleans all 3 bathrooms everyday, (there are 3 people in the family). While she sounds a bit anal I really like her. I'm just not sure what she has to do to prepare to have a few teenatgers over. LOL! |
