First off, polygamy is against the law in the U.S. It would be fine with me if they totally shut down these polygamy compounds. I agree with Children's Services rounding up all 416 children. Some of them, their parents are not even at the Texas compound. The children originally under 5 I believe were "selected" from Utah/Arizona and sent to Texas. It's also not just the young teen girls being forced to marry much older men, a lot of the boys are sent away not to have any contact with their family so these so these men can "spiritually marry" underage teenagers. It is nothing but child abuse all the way around for these kids. Hopefully, Texas will retains custody of all of the children. |
