We do not owe our children a college education. However, I wish I had been able to help my daughter more - she did it all herself - worked full and part-time while completing her degree in 4 years. . she also got some scholarships and grants. . Now she has a great job and is going to school at night to get her Master's. . I am very proud of all of her hard work - just wish I could have made it a little easier on her...my ex (her dad) died 3 months after our divroce - she had just been in college 2 months so she had a lot to overcome. .
