We are very liberal and have tattoos ourselves; we used to have piercings but have since taken them out. I wouldn't ever let my son get a tattoo until he was old enough to sign for it himself but earrings and hair length/color does not bother me in the least. Both of my sons have long hair and everybody tells them how cute they are. To each his own, though! Thanks for the input i think i will wait until he's older :)
