1) You take a vow of "for better or worse" ... a sworn vow before God.
2) She needs to be an example for her children.
3) Perhaps she needs/wants time to sort out where she stands financially.
4) Maybe, just maybe, she still loves him and wants to work it out.
I've seen couples with one commiting infidelity and the other one, while not actually out commiting it, exhibited behavior that was just as offensive.
A hateful nagging wife who keeps her husband in debt is just as guilty of wrong doing as a man who philanders.
