I want my old one back. This one is hard to get the plate off to clean out the dog hair, it is hard plastic and takes several minuetes to get it back on correctly so it will seal and suck out the water. My old one that I had for 12 years was great and worked much better. But since I bought it I will use it. I have 2 cats and 1 dog and it works good just don't like cleaning it. But it has paid for itself. Like I said my other one lasted 12 years and so the $159 I paid for that one really did pay for itself. I used to use it about every 2-3 months as we live on the water and the carpets can get quite dirty. I am hoping to get hard wood floors here in the next month or so and so won't use it so much. But to me I love the convenience and it really kept my carpet in good shape. |
