I know a couple that uses mom's handicap plaque to park in handicap space--and seem to have no shame in front of others who I'm sure, like I, know there is no handicap. Irks (disgusts really) me to no end. I always tell my kids I don't mind parking far away--I am thankful I CAN walk.
