DH and I only buy our daughter one big gift every Christmas - this year it was a Wii. She's an absolute hoarder and has a room full of crud anyway, so we decided to only get her one big gift every year to help minimize the junk :) However, she's the only granddaughter/neice on my side of the family and my parents, brother and sister absolutely spoil her! They really enjoy seeing her face light up though and I guess it's only once a year, so we deal with it. She's still a really good kid and truly appreciates everything she has - that's probably the reason she won't get rid of anything :) |
