my dad was an engineer, and then was even promoted to manager, and we had hand-made clothes and hand-me-downs. For Christmas when I was about 7 I remember asking for a jewelry making kit that was being advertised on TV for girls, and instead of that I was given some little plastic O-shaped beads to string, in a few different colors, all the same. Sort of like stroke rehab work. This was the moment I knew Santa was not real; this was the work of PARENTS! Hehehehe.
I was quite disappointed, but then again this was probably a $5 item I asked for, not $300! How times change. |
