My friend's daughter when she was about 3 refused to go in the potty for days and days and after a while she was so backed up that she had to go to a specialist and was on daily medication for a couple of years. She was so impacted, her colon was misshapen. She went through a lot of giving enemas and going to doctors until she was finally straightened out.
