My desk is set up to watch the birds from my office/sewing room window. In Illinois, we have tons of different species. One of my favorites is a bluebird, only because we don't get that many here. We have a lot of blue buntings that are a very vivid blue - I like those too. Lots of Cardinals - we are St. Louis fans here! Lots of woodpeckers, different varieties. Squirrels, which I have grown to despise - too many, eat everything, damage houses, etc. Chipmunks which are cute, but ate through the screens in our windows in crawl space - nasty little things! |
