I'm an Island girl, a seahag, salt water runs through my veins.....spent just about any free moment at  the beach,  fishing, crabbing, scalloping, clamming...there's just something about the sea breeze.  I didn't realize how expensive seafood was until I moved inland bkz it was always in abundance.   For the last 25 years we've basically been land-locked.  When I fly home every once in a great while, the arial view of the Atlantic Ocean,  Fire Island and the Great South Bay does my heart good.
