younger than me.  We did not officially marry, but were together for over 10 years, longer than a lot of official marriages.  Many reasons why we did not make it legal, but it was legal in our state after 10 years.  I had a son, and we had a daughter together.  For more than 10 years, it lasted longer than most marriages.  Age was not a factor.  It was more personality differences.
