I may not be an experienced MT - but I am so glad I can help someone do something.
The skin is loose on a turkey. So, just lift the skin up (do not worry about the back, drumsticks, or wings) and stick that butter mixture in there. It will look lumpy but it will melt down. BTW, if you want, you can place the turkey on potato halves. This will ensure that the turkey does not get soggy on the bottom. After cooking, make sure you let it rest for about 20 minutes before slicing. |
