but she NEVER hit the BIG TIME until Oprah took her under her wing early last year.........and is why her talk show was put on the same channel as Oprah's show.  I really liked and preferred Rachael Ray when she was new, on food network, from upstate NY when it didn't all GO TO HER HEAD!  Now, instead, I find her annoying and NEVER watch her anymore. JMO.
