I am basically the same way where the Democratic party platform is concerned...there are just too many things that are so opposite from what I believe. There are several things about Barack Obama that concern me. However, if he was Joe Blow from Kokimo and was saying the same things, I would still disagree. It is not Barack Obama the man I object to. It is the policies and the changes he says he would make, that I think would be bad for the country. It just seems like that in America you could have a debate about issues without all the politics of personal destruction. Perhaps that is just asking too much...at least on this board. Thank you, oldtimer. I do appreciate your comments. You are fair, and I do appreciate that.
